Decorating the Tree

This year was WAY too much FUN decorating the tree. The kids were so excited they could hardly contain themselves.

Clara is quite the helper this year. She's able to hang the ornaments mostly at the bottom but does a really good job. Jack mostly just laid them in the tree, adorable of course.
He also took iphone breaks to play while we decorated.
He was obsessed with Finn McMissile and did not want to put him on the tree, and when I wouldn't let him play with other ornaments he became very upset!
It was fun explaining the different ornaments to Clara. We have a giant collection of Disney ornaments that we've bought over the years. Mike took pictures of Zakk wrapped in lights. He could careless what was going on, haha.
Jack loved the Toy Story Santa Hat and wore it all day off and on, and kept saying "CHEESE" for me.
Hanging up their first ornaments!
Even Zoey got in on the decorating action but hates being picked up. Clara posed with the our 2012 ornament. Next year we will have one more person to add to the ornament, baby Hudson!

These are some of Clara's preschool crafts she's brought home. The Bell was super cool and each day when she woke up she removed a chain and it was one day closer to Santa's arrival!
I finally made Cinnamon Rolls. I HATE making this rolls. It's pioneer woman's recipe. I need to not procrastinate and then it wouldn't be as torturous. I had issues this year with them, and the dough never rose, but they still turned out pretty tasty.
The kids LOVED the tree, and would sit and stare at it all the time. Clara made a fun ice cream cone Christmas tree, she devoured it when she got home. Then in the mail Santa himself sent her a letter and Clara made the "Nice List". It even came with a letter from Rudolph too. It was so nice of Aunt Fishy to let Santa know how good Clara has been all year.
We enjoyed some white balls that we look forward to every year. My mom makes them every year and everyone looks forward to them. They are delicious. We recorded every Christmas cartoon and movie on tv and enjoyed them daily. Clara also really liked A Christmas Toy which was Mitchell and I's favorite growing up. Jackson got mad at me one day and he tried to sit on the tree out of frustration. It was the funniest thing ever!
