Last Swim Day at the Old House

My parent's are getting ready to put their old house on the market so we thought we would have on last hoorah and swim in the pool before they sell it. It was so nice to be able to get together one last time at the old house and take a dip.

 These 3 are quite the trio! 

 Jack mostly ate the entire time, just like his mother. And Clara sat in her floaties on the steps splashing. She loved to watch my mom and aunt jump in the pool. Funniest thing ever! 

 Jackson's first time in the pool. Just like his sister, he freaked out and was hysterical. So that's when he chilled with mommy and snacked! 

Misty's Master's in Public Administration Graduation

Misty has worked her booty off for the last few years getting her Master's in Public Administration. It was super stressful especially towards the end with all her deadlines and stuff that kept coming up. But she DID it!!! I can't even began to express how proud of her I am. All her hard work, dedication, determination, and shear drive paid off in a big way. I can't even fathom trying to go back to school for a Master's. So now she can breath and tackle a new goal in her life. 

 She had a graduation party a couple of weekends later at the park by their house. Mike BBQ's a bunch of tritip and made chili beans, she had an adorable cookie bar, and a La Rosa ice cream cart. Oh and her co-worker made the most delicious lemon bars I have EVER had in my life. They were ridiculously good. 

 Now that Misty has finished school, maybe she can actually read the Harry Potter Series! Movies do not justify! 

 After we left the park we headed back to their house for some swimming and dancing time. Clara and Claire play so cute together!! They are just adorable! 

Mike and Eric became intoxicated while they were cooking, so Mike decided to walk the La Rosa cart down to the park, and he was stopped by a ton of kids trying to buy some ice cream bars. It was quite hilarious. But my dad drove by in his truck and gave him a ride the rest of the way lol. 

Jack's Little Dude Haircut

Jack has only had one hair cut, but I still kept it a little bit longer. But it looks messy and I felt it was time to give him a real cut. The first cut was a tiny little trim so I was ready to cut it all off.

 Michael just got out his buzzers and gave it a go! This is mid hair cut. 

This is the finished product. To me he looks completely different. He look so grown up and I love it!! 

Day Trip to Pismo Beach

We decided with the start of summer, a trip to the beach was in order. We went just for the day with my BFF Misty and Eric and our good friends Tyler and Katy joined us with their kiddos Lucy, Carter, and tiny baby Molly. We knew Pismo was going to be crazy busy but since we expect that then it's no worries! It was absolutely beautiful weather. Sunny and just the right amount of wind. We headed to the outlets when we first got there and of course I was already dressed in my beach attire so I looked a hot mess, lol.

 Somehow I got screwed when we were heading down to the beach and I had all three heavy bags, lol. 

 Clara was not happy at first and the water was really cold and she was upset about it. 

 This was Jack's 2nd time to the beach. The first time he was only 2 months old. He was NOT a fan of the water. 

 He stayed upset for a while but finally calmed down once he was in the shade and chillin. 

 I have never seen Carter light up like he did at the beach. He feels right at home in the sunshine. Such a little surfer dude!! 

 Clara had to pee right after we got settled and so Eric and Misty were AWESOME and walked all the way back to the bathroom with her. 

 He didn't like the sand in his toes at all. Just like his sister when she was his age. 

 Clara, Lucy and Carter had so much fun playing in the sand! They did that for hours.

 After some sand digging, Clara decided to chase the seagulls. She was obsessed with them. But she was getting further...and further...and further away, so I had to go fetch her haha! It was pretty hilarious.

 Then we took the kids to Dinosaur Park in Shell Beach but it was under construction and the bathrooms were closed. There were two filthy outhouse. It was so gross.

Then we headed down to Avila to the farmers market and they have a cute little petting zoo and the yummiest jarred foods. So good! It was a perfect day trip to the beach!! Sad that we live so close and only go once a year!
