I had a busy week beginning of February! We had Misty's marathon at Downtown Disney on Sunday, then Ellen on Wednesday and then we had an appointment for Jack and Daddy at the House Ear Clinic on Thursday. That's a lot of driving over the grapevine in one week!
Katy text me and said she had 2 extra tickets to Ellen Degeneres if Misty and I wanted to go down with her and Lindsey. Of course we said YES! I was hoping Katy's good luck would rub off on us. I've been to Ellen twice and never gotten anything for free. Katy has won a 12 days of Christmas with Ellen, and the other time she went, she won tickets to Gwen Stefani's concert. The one HUGE disappointment for me was the taping right before us got to see Daniel Radcliffe. I would have cried tears of joy!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Harry Potter. They also seen the 1st lady. But we found out we were gonna see the cast from The Voice. I loved it the first season so I was excited. It was also the Superbowl episode. It was hilarious, I laughed so hard my abs hurt. It was also extra long and they had to edit the crap out of it for tv.

Never heard of Clay Matthews till we were there and man oh man was he HOTTTTTT!!!!
And then the best thing ever happened...we were given something for FREE!! haha! It's a Kobo E-reader tablet. And apparently my reaction was priceless bc Lindsey & Katy were laughing so hard at me, Misty thought Katy was in labor but she was just trying not to pee her pants. Lindsey had tears streaming down her face. She said I was like one of those characters on SNL when it's Oprah's favorite things & their heads explode. I then started laughing so hard, we were all dying. Mike was excited about what I won, he's been wanting an Ipad forever but this will do for now.
We made an appointment for Jack at the Ear House Clinic bc he's had an ear infection for 2 months straight, so it was time to see a specialist. Mike had recurring infections as well so we thought we'd do a twofer! Turns out Jack has fluid in his ear but there can be fluid in an ear for 3 months after an infection. So we have to see his pediatrician in 6 weeks to see if there is still fluid. And Mike wasn't able to be treated bc he didn't have a current ear infection. The House Clinic was really cool, they had a giant anatomy of the ear that you could look at. I thought at first it was a toy for kids to crawl through shaped like an ear but it wasn't.
We got done there pretty quickly so we headed down to the American at Brand mall in Glendale. It was only 7 miles away. It's our favorite place to go. We let Clara play at the park area for a while to burn off the car ride.
After shopping, daddy took Clara back to the park while I sat in front of the fountain and fed Jack Jack. He started dancing to the music and loved to watch the water show.
Then we went to IKEA. It was only the 2nd time I had been there, and I'm seriously in LOVE with it. We got so much stuff for hardly anything. It's so cheap!! It was so fun and was on a high!! Had I known they had cool carts, we would not have took our huge double stroller in bc we really needed two carts bc we bought so much stuff!
Clara behaved so well, they were both exhausted & hungry. As we were checking out, she was crying that she wanted to eat. So there was a food stand right by the check out, so I went to get her a hot dog. It was $2 for 2 hot dogs, chips and drink with free refills. What the heck? how do they make any money?!
That was the busiest, most exhausting, funnest week I had in a long time! There is nothing better than quality time with girlfriends! And then quality time with my husband & our little family.
