Jack's 2nd Birthday Beach Trip

For Jack Jack's birthday we decided to head over to Pismo for the day. Mike was on vacation, Misty took a vacation day and Eric was off by 9am so we took off from there. We went shopping at the outlets for a really long time that morning and then headed to lunch and then to the beach, and then to the San Luis street fair. I think Jack had a great birthday, we wore him out.

On the way there, he kept falling asleep.

After a long morning of shopping we grabbed some food at Garlands in Grover Beach! They have really yummy shakes, and a good veggie burger.

Everyone was busy eating while I was nursing Hudson.
Then we decided to head over to Avila bc they have a big park the kids could play at. They loved the park. Jack was obsessed with the slide and was crying his eyes out when we had to leave.

He kept swinging from the bar above the slide but he wasn't quite tall enough and would almost eat it down the slide every time.

The beach was extremely windy and when we arrived Mike & Eric took off with Jack while we dealt with the baby and all the stuff. Jack ran straight towards the ocean. For a kid that is scared of EVERYTHING, he had zero fear about a giant ocean, sheesh!
Hudson's first trip to the beach, 6 weeks old.

Trying to get a family pic is darn near impossible lol.

Mike and Eric went on a bromantic stroll.
Clara decided to finish her cheeseburger with sand everywhere. Oh well, she's so dang cute!
Jack was cracking up at Misty kicking her leg towards the pigeon saying "GET". It was so funny. He was laughing so hard, and then started repeating "get, get, get" over and over.
We headed over to the San Luis Steet Fair/Farmer's Market. Misty & Eric had been before and we never have. They had tons of fresh veggies and fruit. The produce was beautiful. There was live music, and tons of food to buy to eat. We had kettle corn, roasted corn, and a terrible tasting eclair.
Kettle Corn keeps kids quiet and happy lol.

The guys spotted a cigar shop, and away they went. I love SLO bc they only allow smoking in designated areas, it's super clean and just so beautiful.  We then loaded up all the kids and headed home. It was a fun beach trip. Next trip I plan to sit on the beach the entire day as long as we aren't being blown away. I think it was the perfect day to turn 2!!!
