Audra's Birthday Eagle Mountain

Audra turned 20!! Aunt Sharon bought us tickets to go see Travis Tritt at Eagle Mountain. So us girls: Sharon, Audra, Sharon A., & I took a girls trip up the mountain and gambled, ate dinner and watched Travis. Gambling was super fun!! My favorite is the double diamonds and when we first got there I won $130 bucks pretty quickly and then of course put a chunk of it back into the machine.
Audra is so cute in her little dress and hat!
Sharon doing her favorite past time!! She was like a kid in a candy store!!
Sharon A. refused to take a picture with us!! But this one is adorable of us!

We had great seats, close to the door, and the breeze was blowing through. The best part of the concert for me was all the crazy people that were attending lol! I've never seen so many interesting people. Swamp Men, women with no bras, all sorts of people. Travis was fairly simple, didn't talk much at all, he sang and left the stage.

I landed on this and almost had a heart attack! It was so rude!

Overall we had a great time just being together and laughing! And now Aunt Sharon has a new place she can escape to and gamble that isn't far at all! Happy Birthday Audra!!

Jack's 11 Month Update

Jack hit a lot of milestones in his 11th month. He's become a VERY busy boy! He began standing up with support from furniture. He also is army crawling. He just pulls himself all around the house with his arms. He now has 4 top teeth (2 middle and the 2 next to them) & 3 bottom teeth.

He celebrated his first St. Patty's Day, and had his first trip to the snow.
He loves to swing outside, likes to play on the computer,  he has the cutest booty ever, and he LOVES to pull hair and my glasses!
His favorite past time is playing in his kitchen and throwing all the toys out of the drawers and cabinets onto the floor. He is also ALWAYS camera ready!!

He LOVES bath time. He splashes with all his might to the point that I'm soaked (see photo below) by the time his bath is over.
His new favorite food is spaghetti! He will still eat lots of baby food. He eats at least 2 stage 2 jars of food per feeding. I feed him Earth's Best Organic baby food. It has added DHA, and they make the most unique blends. So much more variety than Gerber. Plus I love feeding him from a glass jar. I don't know why. I tried making baby food but it got boring, I'm not good at making blends. But he's at the point now where he's wanting real food. He loves eggs, toast, yogurt, beans and rice.

He wore his first set of overalls and I just about died how cute he was in them!! He still doesn't talk or wave bye bye yet, but he can give you a five! I find that impressive! I just LOVE having a son, nothing like it on earth. He's amazing to me! Love my boogie bear!!

Easter 2012

Easter this year was a blast!!! It was the first easter at my parent's house! It was a beautiful day, sunny and just perfect! My dad BBQ'd tri-tip, we had salad, and Misty's cheesy potatoes and all kinds of good stuff! And don't forget boiled eggs!!!

This year instead of a bunch of candy, I filled up their buckets with a movie and hair bows, and a book. Jack's candy I ate of course :)

The egg hunt was adorable. Aedan and Clara of course hunted. Next year I will make sure she has on closed toed shoes, bc she was getting poked by brush. Cassell had to hunt on the porch bc she fell and hurt her foot at Jack's birthday party.
So my mom decided we should take family pictures while we were all together. I completely forgot until right before we were leaving and I was just going to wear comfy, ugly clothes. So I was scrambling at the last minute for something to wear. Can I just say taking a large family portrait like this is time consuming and difficult haha!! We literally took hundreds of pictures and I'm not kidding we only got maybe 2 on my camera that turned out decent. Somebodies eyes are closed, or head is turned or a baby is moving, or double chins or hair blowing. It's hilarious!! But it was fun and we were able to capture a few good ones a least!!

We put this balm stuff in Jack's hair and it wouldn't stay down so Mike just spiked it as a joke, but it looked adorable!!! His hair actually looks strawberry blonde to me.

Eric & Thomas are out of control, it is Easter after all, haha!
I didn't get any pics of my Uncle Kurt & Aunt LouAnn, or my Aunt Judy & Cassell. I felt like I took hundreds of photos.

It was a great day with our family. I love that our families are growing. It makes me wonder what life will be like in 10 years, how many more of us with have children??

Dyeing Eggs

Misty was gracious enough to have all of us over to her house to dye eggs. We were supposed to do it but Mike ended up getting the "flu" the day before, so we didn't want to risk anyone getting sick. Misty was busy prepping stuff for Jack's birthday so it worked out perfect. My Aunt Judy was in town with my cousin Cassell and my sister in law Crissy came with my nephew Aedan. Tom and Nicole were in town for spring break so they came as well.
My mom brought Little Caesar's for dinner.
 Aedan eating a potato wedge.
Cousins getting ready to dye eggs.

Aedan and Jack just adore each other. They play so well together.

Thomas really participated in the dyeing.
This picture is just ridiculous lol!
 so is this one, haha!
Jack Jack loves his uncle eric and he was making him laugh!
 so cute uncle tom's hat!
 funny faces

 Uncle Squeezy and Jack

We decided to get a group shot of all the cousins, however it turned out to be quite the ordeal and was hilarious.

 Auntie Cole & her lovebug
Clara was really into dyeing eggs this year. It was a lot of fun. It makes me look forward to all the fun traditions we can start now that she's getting older.

So I screwed up and bought brown organic eggs. I was just excited bc at Costco they had 18 eggs for only $3.79 and I pay more for 12 at Albertson's, so I was totally excited and bought them. I didn't even think about when we dyed them they wouldn't be very vibrant. The yellow dye didn't work at all. So NEXT year we are going to do Kool-Aid dyed eggs. I can't believe how amazing those eggs turn out. Everyone kept giving me a hard time about the brown eggs. Leave to me to mess up, haha!!
